Andrew Jefferies (he/him) is a queer theatre director based out of Utah. His work is centered around fostering empathy and exploring the complexities of the human experience. As a director, he creates collaborative environments and challenges the way stories are classically told.
As a director, assistant director, producer, and actor, Andrew has worked with theaters across northern Utah, including Sundance Summer Theatre, Covey Center for the Arts, Hale Centre Theatre, Timpanogos Arts Foundation, and Empress Theatre. Also an advocate for new works, Andrew directed Creekside Theatre Fest's inaugural New Play Project and staged four exciting new plays by Utah-based playwrights. He graduated from BYU with a BFA in Music Dance Theatre.
Andrew also works as a freelance UX Designer and loves to read, watch reality competition shows, and spend time with his wife Heather and sons Henry and Oliver.
